You can read his piece with me here.
Also new --- a short video interview with me in German on youtube here.

Thanks for letting everyone know about the interview with Brian Sherwin.
It was great to be re-directed to your website and view The Collapsible Kunsthalle. I know Duchamp was concerned with mass-production for the “Box in a Valise”, however, as an extension of Duchamp’s Valise, you have a one-of-a-kind small museum space showcasing ideas in a similar way to museums. It’s not simply a miniaturized space (requiring small “tid-bits”, from min-curators down to very thin sheets of drywall), rather it seriously forms a transportable space for real ideation. I can’t help thinking of Giacometti’s small figures. Good interview.
Hi, Mark--
I enjoyed learning more about you and your work. Love your advice to artists. Love the flaming paintbrush in your picure. Love your work, which crosses boundaries and borders--just like you. All the best.
Joanne
Thanks you two --- great praise from two artists I respect immensely. The Collapsible Kunsthalle was more inspired by Marcel's (and Hans Arp's and others) small works for the Stettheimer Dollhouse at the City Museum in NYC --- an object often forgotten --- and by Dave Muller's 3 Day Weekend idea. I wanted to have the fun of carrying around and showing the work of friends of mine, which is mostly what the Coll. Kunsthalle does. And I get to lightly razz international curators. Wanna show in it? It travels (with and without me) interbationally a lot and inbetween is always in a gallery in Zurich.
The flame photo was of an actual burning brush and has a lot to do with my name --- "Brandl" is old Suddeutsch and translates as a diminutivization of conflagration, or "Little Big Fire" as I like to say. I love your website and writings (as well as paintings) Joanne. Keep it up! And Gary, it's great to see you as a Sharkpack contributor too!
Mark,
That is a demonic picture of you. I'm lovin' it. You look so wise and devilishly playful at the same time.

Thanks again Mark.
