Not only was Sharkstock 2 completely brilliant, but the Sharkpacks own Poet Laureate Dr. Simone Muench easily blew away all competition when it comes to being Chicagos most alluringly literate bartendress.
And for this we thank Simone and our amazing managing director Kenneth Clarke who both saved the day and got alot of people very inebriated with their devil may care, shoot from the hip, bartending techniques.....
Mucca Pazza........how great are they? -Nick Tremulis, Stephanie Browning looking and singing like no one else, Brad Peterson, The Issues, Winston Damon..... everyone came to play -along with and to, a somewhat massive crowd of people...there was Shark curator Lynne Warren taking in the 30 piece Hungarian marching band cacaphony that is Mucca Pazza along with Michael Wilmington and features editor Jacqueline Fitzgerald and .....I don't know perhaps a thousand..fifteen hundred other people...all shaking their fists manically...as the worlds finest punk marching ensemble unleashed 'Cheer Challenge'........it was all very wild and sharky!..speaking of which,..I ended up walking around like a shark with my head cut off..........isn't there something terribly wrong with that notion?........trying to remember faces and names and keep everything straight after too many long days and nights spent in preparation for the big event! If nothing else, I was at least able to persuade Nick that now was not the time to trot out cover songs of his favorite band - a band known as .......dare I say it? -'Journey'...Nick, if you will lay out the cash for a Steve Perry mullet wig, and pour yourself into some hip hugger style-bell bottoms.......maybe next year...we will all be dumbstruck, watching you sing about 'the lites in the citaaaaay by the baaaayyeaaaah........
Sharkstock 2 entered the realm of sharklore, coming off as smooth as a wounded baby seal head.....and, just wait until next year!
